The FBC Personnel Team is led by a man displaying Christ-like character and Spirit-led life as described in Colossians 3:1-16 and Galatians 5:16- 26. Consisting of three members, all who hold full membership at Faith Baptist Church, this team exists to help in the hiring process of new ministry team members at FBC. Additionally, the Personnel Team prepares an annual budget for personnel related costs and works with the Finance Team and Treasurer to ensure employment costs are captured correctly.
How we serve
The purpose of the Personnel Team is to advertise for, interview and hire to fill vacant staff positions within the school, pre-school and church office, and to establish salaries for these positions. Additionally, the Personnel Team assists the Lead Pastor in matters related to employed personnel including advising in or executing administrative actions, writes and maintains job descriptions for church office, pre-school, and school job positions, as well as reviewing and updating personnel policies.
Qualifications needed for someone to serve on our team
The qualifications for becoming a member of the Personnel Team are a Christ-like character as described in Colossians 3:1-16 and Galatians 5:16- 26. A willingness to learn and understand German employment rules and guidelines is also an important factor in becoming a member of the personnel committee. Experience in human resources (HR) or employee management are helpful as well. Serving on this team also requires the affirmation of the Lead Pastor.
