Faith Missions Faith Missions is responsible for the coordination of all church mission activities. As God leads us, we seek to discover and inform the local body of Christ of needs and opportunities of missions work worldwide. It is our desire that through these missions, the message of Jesus would be spread to every corner of the Earth. We seek to partner with fellow churches, missions organizations, and missionaries, to share the light of Christ with all of God's children, and encourage each of our members to take some time and consider where God may be leading you to serve.
Faith Missions also serves the church in establishing and conducting mission projects, keeping the church informed of current and upcoming projects, and is responsible for setting missions offering goals. If you are interested in learning more about where God is working through Faith Baptist Church, or if you have a new missions idea/suggestion please contact our missions coordinators. 1) Expanded Territory - Look at God. 1) Only He, births a seemingly insignificant ministry in rural Germany. 2) Only He, gathers imperfect and otherwise sinful people from all denominations and backgrounds to serve others. 3) Only He, would find use for second-hand, often unwanted items. 4) Only He, would fund this ministry using thousands of leftover coins. 5)Only He, could do all the above AND allow this seemingly insignificant ministry to expand into new territory. Now that is God. 2) Worms, Germany - A friend of a friend recommend a friend call our hotline last week. The pregnant young woman was scared and had decided abortion was the only way to solve what she explained was a one-time, big mistake. Unable to come visit our center, volunteers were able to make the trip to her. There is something about sitting down, having face-to-face communication; giving encouragement, and love. After two hours, this young woman made the LIFE choice. Taking one day at a time, she committed to daily speaking life to herself, her unborn child, and surrounding herself with those who support her; steering away from those who advocate death. Look at God, expanding our reach outside the KMC community. He cares for EVERY unborn child. 3) Incirlik, Turkey - This past week the CPC received three large boxes full of donated new and used baby clothes. The MOPS group from Incirlik Air Base, learned of our local CPC and decided to partner with prayer and in action. Not only are we thankful for the new items and the handmade blankets, but we are excited that the vision behind our ministry was embraced at this Air Base in Turkey. Additionally, we are reminded of the baby bottle collection which took place last spring at Moron Air Base, Spain. God is up to something! Prayer Requests from Heartbeat Crisis Pregnancy Center ... April 15, 2013 1) Client E: Pray for our Worms client and her decision for LIFE. Pray that God surrounds her with those who will speak life and not death over her, her unborn child, and her situation. Pray for a sound mind, guarded heart, and health in her body. Pray for a free weekend in the upcoming months, where we can further minister and she can attend church. 2) Volunteer: Pray for our CPC volunteer who is recovering from surgery. Pray for a speedy recovery and that God ministers during this time of rest. 3) Material Aid Family: Pray for our material aid families who have temporary refugee status in Germany. 4) Client Family: The CPC has been ministering to this extended family for over 10 months. We have a baby, they chose LIFE. Pray for God to continue to do what He does best - save, restore, deliver, and set free. 5) 2013 Clients: Pray for our clients. Pray for our ability to communicate. Pray for God to open doors. 6) Admin Committee: Pray for this new committee that is in the process of re-vamping our organizational structure. Pray for wisdom, guidance and a spirit of excellence to be in everything. 7) Counseling volunteers: Keep all counseling volunteers in prayer, speaking to those who need to be trained. 8) Baby Bottle Drive: Pray for local congregations to participate in this fundraiser monthly. 9) Pastor Luncheon: Pray for all local pastors and leaders to participate this FRIDAY, 19 April. Pray for unity among the KMC community leaders. 10) Spring Fundraiser: Pray for the 18 May event, the organization and efforts which need to go into planning. 11) Fall Banquet: Pray for this event, even now. Pray for God to lead and guide. Pray for our interaction with our international affiliate and the discussion for: partnering with this local event, possible volunteer training, and a regional pro-life European conference. 12) Gosnell Trial: Pray for justice. Pray for the prosecutors. Pray for the media outlets to effectively cover this trial. Pray for the pro-choice abortion agenda, God have mercy on us. |
