Important Tithing Information
Unfortunately, Wells Fargo, our American based bank, has decided to stop working with foreign entities (us, including many other churches in the Germany). We have looked for other banks to work with but have had no success so far. This means that we are unable to take any U.S. checks (personal or otherwise). Still available is PayPal, cash ($ and €), sending it to our German account, and sending U.S. checks to the IBCM in Texas.
Welcome to Faith Baptist Church! We know living in a foreign country can be complicated at times, but giving to your local church shouldn’t be. This aims to answer any questions you may have, but should you have more, please contact the church financial secretary at 0631-3187516 or by clicking here.
Faith Baptist Church (FBC) is supported solely by the gifts of our people through their tithes and offerings. We are not supported by any outside agency or denomination. FBC adopts an annual budget for all of our expenses, ministries, and missions. We ask members to give their tithes to this general budget so that all of the church's needs can be met, and we can better accomplish our ministry goals. To get a copy of the church’s full budget, contact the financial secretary.
You can contribute to the ministry of FBC in the offering plate or on the giving tab of our website using our direct online contribution PayPal button. Based on German and American laws, however, donations given directly to FBC are not deductible on your U.S. income tax. If you want to claim your contributions to FBC as a charitable donation, you must send your contributions through the International Baptist Church Ministries (IBCM). You can do this by
sending a check or electronic payment to the below address or by using the tax-deductible online contribution PayPal button on our website. Please make your check (paper or electronic) payable to International Baptist Church Ministries, and designate your tithe on the memo line to Faith Baptist Church, Kaiserslautern. The IBCM will then forward the money to our church. Contributions given through the IBCM can be claimed on your U.S. income taxes.
Send contributions to IBCM, designated for Faith Baptist Church, Kaiserslautern through the
PO Box 833276
Richardson, TX 75083-3276
IBCM will send you a contribution report at the end of the tax year. For more information
about IBCM, you can visit their website at www.IBCMworld.org
Ministries Supported by Faith Baptist Church
Our budget giving also supports missions locally, in Europe, and worldwide. Missions we are supporting include:
missions, you can designate that on your contribution, given in any of the ways mentioned above.
We trust that God will provide everything that FBC needs. We ask that you pray how God
would allow you to participate in this act of obedience and out-pouring of love.
As the Lord may lead you to give offerings over and above your tithe and if you are so led to
designate your offerings to one of our budget-supported ministries or missions, you may do
so and deduct your contribution for tax purposes if given through the IBCM. However, any
donations given to non-budgeted expenses, missions, and ministries may certainly be given
directly in the offering plate but are not tax deductible.
We are grateful that you choose to support the ministries and the great commission work
here at Faith Baptist Church. We will always seek to be biblically and fiscally responsible with
all gifts that you give here.
