Each week as a part of Faith Academy, we offer wonderful programs for your children and teens.
AWANA provides an exciting and effective way to teach your children the Bible, beginning at age 2 and up all the way through 5th grade. With a variation of fun themes and competitive games and a bunch of caring adults, AWANA is a great ministry to help your child grow in the ways of the Lord.
For the students grades 6-12 we have our weekly youth ministry program. This is a special time for the students to be continue to grow in knowledge of the Word of God, through an evening full of fellowship, worship, Bible study and small groups.
The Ambassadors Diploma is at the heart of our vision of Equipping church goers to become well trained, prepared and Equipped disciples of Christ.
It is our hope that during a tour in Germany all those who attend Faith Baptist Church will be able to go through an educational process involving courses in Faith Academy, Weekend Seminars, Personal Studies to go through at home alone and even some mission trips.
Over the course of the Diploma program individuals will discover their God given gifts, learn to discern the Will of God, be equipped with evangelism tools, grow in understanding of the whole Bible and experience a mission trip.
At the end of this three year program individuals will be awarded a Diploma as they are sent out to be Ambassadors for Christ. We believe you will be truly blessed, stretched and challenged during the equipping process.
Here is a short overview of the entire process:
101 Discovering FBC (Seminar) 102 Jesus On Leadership (6wk) 103 O.T. Survey (13wk) 104 N.T. Survey (13wk)
301 We Believe: Doctrine (13wk) 302 Experiencing God (13wk) 303 Soul Winning (Seminar) 304 Mission Trip
Faith Academy is a key part of our equipping process. The small group studies meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 - 7:45 pm in the upstairs classrooms and Apartment 1.

"Anger: Handling a Powerful Emotion in a Healthy Way" by Gary Chapman Facilitator: Pastor Goforth and Doug Tupper Getting angry is easy. Daily irritations, frustrations, and pain poke at us. Feelings of disappointment, hurt, rejection, and embarrassment prod in us. And once the unwieldy cluster of emotions of anger are aroused, our thoughts and actions can feel out of control and impossible to manage. Dr. Gary Chapman, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The 5 Love Languages®, offers helpful-and sometimes surprising-insights into why you get angry and what you can do about it. Using real-life stories and practical principles, Chapman explains how you can channel anger in ways that are healthy and productive. You'll also be equipped to help those you love (including your children) deal with their own anger, as well as effectively deal with those long-simmering feelings of anger toward people in your past. Includes an assessment that will help you discover your personal propensity toward handling anger and how to effectively tame it when it arises.
